A San Antonio original, Dylan Loza picked up the guitar at 14 and never really put it down. He’s built his own genre from the ground up — pulling from classic soul icons like Otis Redding and Ray Charles, the reggae warmth of Bob Marley, and the laid-back singer-songwriter world of John Mayer and Jack Johnson. The result is what he calls Soul Rock, and it hits exactly how a Sunday evening should: easy, soulful, and just right.

He even made it to the Hollywood rounds on Season 11 of American Idol — but San Antonio gets him every week.
